...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR GOODHUE COUNTY... At 829 PM CDT, Storms this evening produced 1 and 3 inches of rain. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. We have received reports of water in fields and ditches full. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Red Wing, Cannon Falls, Goodhue, Stanton, Welch, Frontenac, Vasa, Wacouta, Bellechester, Hader, Wastedo, Frontenac State Park and Central Point. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. && FLASH FLOOD...RADAR INDICATED
